I couldn't find any posts about the rear differentials made by Alliance. Are they any good? I've got Rockwell 20-145 diffs on my truck now and they are supposed to be good so how do they compare?

Alliance is just a house brand of parts. Just like TRP is to paccar.
Meritor are great rear ends. I like them better over eaton.

Most guys I know would pass over any truck with Eaton rears. The newer ones seem better though.

    I’m here for some lessons.

What makes some rears better than others?

The 2 trucks I drive have 46,000 Rockwell’s. Last truck I drove had 40,000 Meritors.

I’m not sure what the other trucks in the company have.

The dump trucks looks similar to the trucks I drive except for the old International dump truck which is different.

The International is in front of the shop with a busted front diff at the moment.
(Second time in less than a year, 2 different drivers) Drive shaft spins but truck doesn’t move even with power divider lock activated.
