My name is Glenn. I'm new here. DUH. That's why I'm posting in the Welcome Wagon, right?
Anyway, I drive for Magnum, LTD out of Fargo ND. I've been with them a little over two years and driving about 5 and a half.
I've been hanging out for quite awhile at another board which shall remain nameless. But they recently changed ownership and are having some "issues". Another poster over there, who is known there as RWD, bragged on this forum so I decided to give it a try.
I like politics and religion, so I must have a pretty thick skin. I also like anything technology related, so I should be able to find a niche here.
And, RWD, thanks for the recommendation.
Allow me to introduce myself...

hi all, i am known as cherokeechief on the cb, i have had this handle for a very long time. i was a company driver for 15.5 years until i had my first upset of a tractor trailer. so as you might have figured out i am unemployed at this time. i worked in a music store for 15 years doing electronic repair and delivering pianos and organs, and selling items. i also worked on guitars and amps and keyboards. i decided to get into trucking after talking to my brother in law. went for a ride with him, then enrolled into a good driving school that was 9 weeks long and was taught by experienced drivers. the least was 28 years and the oldest had 42 years over the road experience. the school was in business for 25 years when i went. and it is still in operation.
i came across the forum by just searching the web and decided to join.
i also have half a right foot after hitting a guard rail on my motorcycle in 01. i was off for 18 months. but i passed my SPE certificate test and have been back on the road since 03.
i enjoy drag racing, electronics, and computers. i got very good at helping others while i was off for 18 months and i still get on other forums to help out others with computers in my spare time.
i hope to make some more new friends here on this forum.
