So I'm in Atlanta, pre dawn. Sun barely peeking out of the horizon. I'm trying to get onto 20 off the 285 and there is a pickup truck behind me looking like he's going to give me space to get into the right hand turn lane. So I'm focused on him. I put on my turn signal and start moving over. Looking at the pickup to ensure that he doesn't speed up, and also at my little mirror to ensure there is no one in my blind spot, I come over. At the last second, and thank god I didn't have my music or talk radio turned up, I hear a horn. There is a black car in my blind spot. No headlights on that I literally didn't see at all. I came within inches of pushing him into a guardrail that was on one of those little bridges. I bet he had to clean his shorts. I know I did. I think I would have seen him better if I wouldn't have been so focused on the pickup truck behind me and weather he was going to give me space to make the lane change. I should have looked harder in the little mirror to see if there was anyone beside me. But again, due to him (the pickup truck) seemingly backing off, I just came over. He wasn't giving space to me. He was giving space to the black car I almost killed. It was at the interchange and this black car thought it would be cool to just hang out in my blind spot with no lights on I'm not blaming him. I'm blaming myself. I should have not focused so much on the pickup. But at the same time, why would you, as a 4 wheeler sit on the blind side of a semi with NO LIGHTS ON pre dawn? It still gives me goosebumps thinking of what could have happened. Keep your eyes open folks. I sure as hell didn't. I was too comfortable. And too lazy. I didn't look hard enough.

Thats why I have my light on all the time in my truck, pickup, and my bike. I also wear hivis on the bike. I feel being visible should be part of the law. Especially for motorcycles and bicyclists.

I love those dark grey and silver cars that run in the rain with no lights on. They blend right into the road like camouflage. I blow the air horn at them jerks when they pass me.
