Yes, running one now probable 200k on it. Used to manage a towing, repair shop, with road service . Nothing special that I see so far. Good product, but nothing special.
Key to Alternator life is clean quality batteries and cables.

Switched to Bosch six years back and no regrets. OEM ones on Paccar are Bosch. Never had any better luck with the brushless Delco vs standard.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I saw Bosch brushed alternators on Paccars. Delco's quality is a lottery now.Last edited: Sep 18, 2019
Rideandrepair and spsauerland Thank this. -
Only starter I would ever put in for years was a Delco 42MT 10461053. Last couple have all failed well within warranty. Have switched completely to Mitsubishi Diamond Gard starters. Way better starter. Tried Delco 39MT and didn't have good luck with them. Pretty sure Borg Warner recently bought out Delco Remy.starmac and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I have changed two 39mt on my Cascadia within 2.5 years . Now freightliner has Mitsubishi starters for DD15 available at dealers.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I agree it seems delco stuff is hit or miss. I just put a denso on one my cats. See how that does. Also the Mitsubishi seem really good also
mhyn, Rideandrepair and spsauerland Thank this. -
Denso (Nippendenso for older folks) are good starters too. Hard to beat Japanese electrical components.
mhyn, Rideandrepair and swaan Thank this.
