ALWAYS keep your dash cam ON!

I noticed some damage on the little truck that was messing with the OP as well.

 

Why not be a professional and back out of it ? Thats great u have a dash cam , but u couldve defused the situation better by backing off cruise control and letting the douche go on his way...

I think these forward facing dash cameras are allot like the cops body cameras. At first we thought they would be a bad thing but overtime they have proven more and more to get rid of the troublemakers. The police unions for the most part went from fighting against them to now mandating them in many parts of the country.

 

The objection has never been to cameras in general. It has always been to employer mandated cameras that the driver has no control over. It still is.

 

Be nice if they showed gps speed.

There used to be a camcorder app for cell phones. Don't know if it's still around. It was recommended on this forum and had GPS spees.

 

So glad you received some justice on your behalf. I can't stand these psychos who mess with truckers for absolutely no reason.

 

I’m an owner operator and I have my dash cam wired so when my ignition is on, the camera turns on. So when some idiot do s something stupid I have it on cam. However, when ever I cause an accident, I take the #### thing off the windshield so the cops don’t see it. The o just blame it on the other guy. Works every time
