You think that's lunacy, here in SHILL-annoy, they've ordered all schools (public and private) closed through the end of the month, and just ordered all bars and dine-in restaurants closed.

 

Good.. guess they dont want my load of foodstuffs or TP for 14 days either

In all seriousness, this Corona virus is no joke.
Friend of mine is into global logistics management, and friends with a guy in China.
He got this corona virus early on, and is now on the mend.
He said it was NOT like the normal flu, but like someone was ripping his lungs out.
Take all possible precautions out there.
Shaking hands is a thing of the past; fist bump if you must.
Like the other safety equipment, maybe now is a good time to add a mask - interacting w/strangers?
Don't want to feel or appear weird? well, its better than dead. Who cares what they think.

The restaurants are only closed to dine-in eating. They can still do carry out and delivery orders.

 

Not these in our area. They are going to have to change over to delivery. Carry out is one thing delivery does not exist for many. (YET)

 

That's great. Then the delivery driver can cough and hack all over your food lol.

In all seriousness, this virus is incredibly contagious, and all these measures are just meant to try to slow it down enough to keep the hospitals from getting overwhelmed, which is exactly what is happening in China, Italy, Spain, and Iran (just off the top of my head).

 

We're getting there.

 

The amount of bungling as millions try to put the genie back into the bottle is incredible.
