Am I being unreasonable?

I used these mirrors all the time. It would mess with me too. That being said, I'd run with it.

 

why does everyone assume if a driver sits for 3 days that he isnt going to do anything productive with that time as if the only way to earn a dollar or be happy is to keep driving non stop, my decision to sit or not would be based on what im gonna do with that time, how much i need the money and if i have any family or friends in the area.

 

Your kidding, right. This could not have possibly been a real question.

They will probably send out your replacement with the mirror bracket and you'll be standing on the onramp watching them go down the freeway.

 

Check your regulation book that you got when they hired you and it will show you do not need that mirror, dumb ### cop doesn't know what he's talking about.

 

Which just goes to show the saying... Ask 10 officers a question and get 12 answers.

You don't drive for people like me because you're NOT qualified.

 

if it was not a DOT cop, he didn't know his arse from his elbow about DOT regulations.

 

Always have that little green book handy because some of those cops want to see if you know how to use it.
