You mean you expect your employees to know the regs? This is why i no longer have employee drivers, very few of them know jack.

 

I was looking at the green book today at my first stop as I rearranged my tool box. I wonder what percentage of people actually carry each fuse the truck requires, 5% maybe? I am missing a 40 amp myself, but at least I know I am missing it, LOL!

 

Definitely. Also, if a driver can't use his eyes he shouldn't be operating the truck. We're talking about a hood mirror here. Even if he was driving a 379EXHD or a W900L he should know what is, or isn't in that space. He's got litigation written all over him. I wonder if he knows how much weight a dual group axle set can legally carry.

Speaking of illegal, they should outlaw hood mirrors on any extended hood truck.

 

Sure takes away the looks of the truck. Some insurance companies are forcing them on there though. I think it's Bruce Oakley that requires at least one on the passenger side now.
