No I mean if it happened somewhere they don't have mirrors I'd tell you drive till you find a place that does.
If you would drive the truck to be home for Xmas, you should drive it to complete company business. I would drive it since that mirror isn't required in the regs.
Sitting because you lost one is may not be the best idea. I’ll certainly grant you that. However, I have them on my truck and I am not the slightest bit ashamed to say not only do I use them, but they come in very handy. Some of the places we’re expected to shoehorn 48 footers into are unbelievable.
10 4. Im on that back road every other day. I pick up that farm right off 73 before you make the right on maidencreek rd.
One last comment to clarify a few things. First it wasn't just a broken mirror the bracket it was attached with was broken in half, so you couldn'. just put a new mirror on it. I would never consider parking to get it fixed if it is legal to run. Perhaps I phrased the question poorly. My question was: number one is it legal? Number two if it is not legal am I wrong for not running it? I knew there would be some old timers that would tell me that they've drove a truck with five wheels missing and on fire before, but I didn't expect this level of bashing by asking. I have read and been told repeatedly that when in doubt ask someone for a second opinion.
