Am I calculating the truck driver pay correctly?

    I wish I were paid $0.63 per foot.

    I'd drive 1 mile and be done for the week. Make over 172 grand per year. Yep, that's my kind of gig.

    That's a bit of an exaggeration. Even when I was first out of training I was making more than that within a few weeks. I may have made $10/hr the first couple of weeks, but I make way more than that now and I'm quite sure I made more than that within 6 weeks of driving.

    please consider using "rounding" as it will make your life much easier. And if you are getting paid by the mile just how do you make the leap to become paid by the foot??? Without dividing the money paid by the same mile to foot conversion?
