If you really want to drive a truck, go to either Con-Way, UPS Freight, or another LTL operation so you can be home every night. Con-Way will train you to get your CDL for "free" if you stay with them for a year.

I have heard it said, many times by experienced drivers, that one never stops learning.

    Doctors 'practice' their profession.
    Why?

Because there is always more to learn and experience.

It is the same with truckers.
We, all of us, have something more to learn in order to better ourselves as professional drivers.

So to those that say they know it all already, and are no longer 'practicing' their profession, I say...

...maybe it is time you turned in your keys.

Look at it this way if it comes down to it which one would you rather live without?
