No, you're not doomed. I was at a place one time and had to slide the tandems all the way forward so the reefer trailer would fit the dock plate. It was crowded and cars parked all over the place. When I left, forgot to slide the tandems back. Felt a binding and saw a big ole black Cadillac jumping up and down. I slid the back of the car into the next parking spot. I parked the truck on the street and slowly walked back to the Cadillac and no one was even looking as if nothing happened. So I got in the truck and left. Friend of mine did something similar when he entered the wrong gate and left the front end of a Camaro sitting in the employees parking lot; fenders, hood, bumper, etc. Hey, it's not a perfect world and some of us have a little tarnish on our halo.
