yes, you are insane, but i promise to keep that a secret...
i know what you a re going thru, i worked line haul and had to share the truck with a city driver, but if he was out sick, or got an early start, he grabbed another truck, then all hell would break loose, as to who would drive my truck.
go back onto the road, you should get a sleeper all to yourself. then look for a job, local or regional, which ever you prefer, that has assigned trucks...but that can be difficult, as all companies know, if the wheels ain't runing, that truck is costing money sitting.
Am I insane? Thinking about going back to OTR.

or near Avon..??
plenty of companies in both locations, as well as Stop & Shop,(there are not far from Fall River i think??)
i think they are teamsters....
just stay way from Pray in seekonk. J.Anthony is off Rte 6, down the street from where the Yellow terminal is? i think ABF is on the same street.
J.Anthony has regular runs to Ohio and back, nice equipment too.McUzi Thanks this. -

Lol... Yep, she drives like 50 miles a day, 6 days a week, and is home by 2 :00 pm every day.
I drive 3500 to 4000 miles a week all across the country, go home for 2 days, then do it all over again.
Our annual income is about the same, but I dont have a killer retirement awaiting me... Funny how things work out when everyone grows up.D.Tibbitt, austinmike and speedyk Thank this. -
i did a "quick stint" at the turnkey post office many years ago. it was a temp job, NO chance of it ever becoming full time postal employee...
i liked the job, but when my 90 days was up, i was gone.
