1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    I haven't hit desperate yet thankfully. ;)

You couldn't tell it from speaking with my kids though. They've both been on my ### about going to work LOL.

My son finally gave up, after I explained to him, my checking account didn't look anything like his :D

I'm like you, sitting on one (OTR). While I wait for another (local job) to pan out. Either way, I'll be working by the 1st. No biggy.

So unless the local job comes through soon. I will be harrassing everyone here, until the 1st. :yes2557:

I should have attended orientation last week. But SOME people, are slow about responding to past work history request. At least they gave me a good referance, and a clean DAC :D

We parted company just before Christmas. :biggrin_255:

Me and my load had a personality conflict. It wanted to be in GA on Christmas Eve. And I wanted to be home.

We both got where we were wanting to go. :D

Not to worry though. I got 1 solid offer, and a "hang tight" for couple of days. I'm hoping the hang tight works out, as it is a local job.

And I am truly enjoying sitting on my ### :biggrin_255:

I'm not worried, you will find something. Plus, I remember last year about this time you telling us that your finances were set up pretty good so I know that you will weather this downturn okay.

Well, thanks for asking anyway :biggrin_255:

My kids hate me now :biggrin_25525:.

Dad in small doses is okay. Dad in large doses, is irritating.

She is, in April. But she still comes by to visit or calls on a regular basis. Her wedding is taken care of, we just haven't told her that. And I'll be home for it :D

Moral of the story: Teach your kids about money. But never let your kids know exactly how much money you do or don't have. It can double the cost of the wedding ;)

    If this one doubled. :biggrin_2554:
