    Experience does tend to be the best teacher, but it takes time to do it. All lf that will come soon enough.

    For now, let's make sure OP knows how to not burn his clutch up prematurely.

    Nope as long as you're not going all the way to engaging the clutch brake.
    Nothing wrong with skipping gears either.

    I plan on an do skip gears all the time.
    Matter of fact these new automatics are programmed to figure that part out for ya.

    No I don't have an auto.

    You go into the gear you need to depending on speed, rpm's and maneuver.
    I like to work on down shifting myself. Any opportunity I have I work on it. Myself, f you if you don't like the speed I am going. I will do what is safe
    Until then, speed by me and get those tickets.
