Hello?
What?
I don't have threads setup to notify me that someone posted.
I compensate the driver for the additional precentage for ss, I also provide worker comp, I can't avoid that becuase the carriers I lease to require it coming from me, and my state is the cheapest.
Trucks average 85k a year. Except teams, they are hitting 200k.
Average revenue is close to a buck a mile and for a driver it seems low but really I have not had complaints because a number of reasons I spoke of in other threads.
By the way, I am not the only one doing this, I am the only talking about it in forums.driverdriver Thanks this. -
Thanks for the response .
Looks like your not the typical 1099 scum -
No I am not, I am against these owners and carriers who screw the driver and speak out about cheap and crappy owners.
If you think people who make this as a business makes a lot of money, think again. I am right in the middle of a lot of owners like me when it comes to what we get, my revenue is 8% out of the gross, the drivers make more than 40% of the gross plus perks. Some owners are making 12% others around 5%. But they are not making the 30 or 40% that some of the crap owners are making.driverdriver Thanks this. -
I understand the margins I'm leased to a large carrier.
