I'm going to say no your not crazy.

You've got several thing going for you. #1 you've got experience, so if you want to do it you don't need to go to a mega carrier. #2 Your employed as a local driver, you can take your time and find a good local outfit that will fit your needs. #3 You have a paycheck right now, you don't need to get in a hurry. Take your time and be sure your getting what you want.

Now if your talking being out all over hells half acre no I wouldn't do that, but a lot of the better places will run you out a couple of days, 3 at the most and then bring you home. With the outfit I work for your home 3-4 nights a week, gross 1100- 1400 a week, and I can think of 5 or 6 other companies in the area that are comparable.

I would do it if you can find the right place.
