I watched a dude that was part of the incoming class at truck driving school get off the bus that had to be near 500 pounds. The bus rocked when he got off. His legs were purple, not kidding purple like a plum, from the knees down. Reminded me of the Sta-Puff Marshmellow Man. The song " Godzilla " was going through my mind.
I actually uttered omfg.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I remember the Matlack Safety Director talk about a guy who was too heavy for the doctor's scale so the weighed him down the street at the feed mill...
I remember when we hired 'Tiny'. Returning from his physical the boss grabbed the form saying I want to see what you weigh you fat XXXX and tiny turned to me and said I got a break, the scale stopped at 380....his wife would bring him to the yard in a dodge omni that made an interesting u turn every morning but never rolled over...
He had an old V8 Mack. those saddle tanks were made to fit either side. He had chains from the cross bar that held the straps at the rear bolted to the un-used bolt holes for the front mount, just in case the strap broke.
Was at one stop, started up the tank ladder to vent the tank when the top cracked bending outward until his feet touched the ground. He had to pay the receiver to shinny up and open the dome lid.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
