Not with the airride plush palaces on the road today you are not.
Many people simply do not meet the DOT medical these days so.. if you do, you are pretty much good to go, with the exception of learning how to handle these trucks in school etc.Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt, Puppage and 3 others Thank this. -
If you can pass a DOT physical and drug test, you're not too old.

You will probably do far better than many of the younger crowd, because you have more developed decision making. And will make good choices.
