    agreed, i drive a 2003 S10 to the yard. all of the clearcoat is gone on the hood and it squeaks when I stop. My new Ram2500 is at home under the carport...haha

    Look at it this way: $19 an hour isn't bad for just having a CDL (which only takes like 2 months to get). Many people with degrees make less than that.

    Starting rate for Coke bulk drivers in Philly is around $17-18 an hour, so it sounds about right. You have to remember it's a union job, so usually it takes years to reach top rate, which I think is about $24 an hour after 3 years. So if you're putting in about 12 hours a day with OT after 8, your gonna be making around $80k in 3 years.

    I drive a 2002 suburban, wife drives a Benz. I don't need a new vehicle, I am comfortable with myself no need to be flashy, when it comes to the wife, I make sure she is spoiled and I must be doing it right she's been with me 21 years.
    For me a 1979 ford f-150 would be perfect.
