I was having issues with the on boarding process. However, they fixed the issue after sending a dozen emails to them. Call me old school but it's much easier to speak verbally regarding problems but it seem as though Amazon doesn't want that and would rather email online communication only.

Ahh yeah they don't really have much help, they usually do everything on their portal. Good thing you got it figured out.

I have an issue where I haven't seen a single load for straight trucks and trailers on my load board. I've tried emailing but I'm not getting any help from them. I wanted to see if there's actually absolutely no loads at all (which I think is bs because my drivers are still getting runs somehow) or if my account doesn't have access.

Are you getting block loads? Those "shifts" that amazon gives you that has multiple stops? I talked to another company owner about this exact thing and he told me amazon blocks load board access if you're doing those blocks.

I think its more so a new carrier. Works dirt slow right now. I know someone whose used post-a-truck 24/7 while looking at the load board and has not gotten a load in 3 months. They have 10 trucks, and can't access the auctions either, even though all they need is 4 power units. Amazon really is making it tough to move a load for them. Then they send it to spot capacity at 2-3x the rate, which is where the money is.

Since Amazon pulled out of Quebec, things on the Amazon load board went blank. I don't even watch it anymore. I also noticed a couple weeks ago when I last looked they were giving Solo drivers only 5 days on a night shift run that left 3 am in the morning to get from Toronto to Vancouver in 5 days. Yes, it can be done but they use to give you an extra day in case of any issues on the trip. They've seem to tighten those gaps and keeping the rates some what lower.

They definitely have been closing the gaps more and more. Even us local guys only have a spare 20-30 mins in between loads. When I first started with amazon 4 years or so ago, they gave an extra hour or so per trip.

Oh definitely, I primarily do local in Vancouver B.C area, (with a longer haul if the money is worth it) and they give me like 1 hour to travel 65 km in rush hour traffic. In the middle of the night its absolutely fine for that, but at 230 PM its about a hour fifteen to a hour twenty drive. I usually leave 20 minutes before actual departure time and barely make it. I have no idea what is going on in the brains of the people setting up those loads, then they proceed to give me a hour and a half to drop off a empty trailer at the final stop, for what reason I have no clue.

I still see loads going into quebec as those warehouses are still there but moreso third party ran now, but it isn't worth the money for me. New carriers/low-performing carriers and/or small fleets who are not eligible for contracts practically sit doing absolutely nothing if they rely solely on Amazon. Not only are the rates not worth running long-haul with amazon right now, the load availability is absolute trash since they try to put everything into contracts. Also the reason for the limiting of the time is for the purpose of lowering the performance grade for carriers so they can offer even lower rates.
