We booked a one week contract for a team run worh 9000. They never used us but We had to pay drivers to be on stand-by. Now we are getting the runaround when questioning payment.

Check the highways or a local DC and look at the tractors pulling their trailers. That usually is a tell tale sign.

My company runs Amazon local mostly and the occasional long hauls. My boss literally stares at the load board all day looking for good paying loads, they pop up for 30 seconds to 1 minute and they are gone. We have dedicated loads with them too that pay alright. I remember we had loads in the winter that ran from Toronto > Moncton NB that paid $3200CAD for 966 miles. We made decent money on those loads until they canceled them out after about 2 months. Occasionally loads from Toronto > Windsor pop up for $800-900 for 325KM (approx 180 miles) and we drive back empty.

Not sure if it's worth it from a company standpoint but for a company driver it's good enough for me.

I gross over 7k consistently with jb hunt power only. And most of my loads are under 25k on the weight. And i dont usually work that hard. But yea, I think amazon sucks too

Amazon also has weird insurance requirements that are really high. Then it takes them a long time to confirm if you insurance meets their requirements. In my case it took them weeks to confirm and i have progressive. Because of all the hoops and amazon being really slow to set me up, i never ended up hauling amazon loads. I talked to a guy recently who hauled amazon, and based on his words amazon pay sucks

All I'm seeing are LIES! my husband and I are Team oo and we are bringing in $8k-$15k weekly hauling for amazon! And that's us being leased onto a carrier! Now imagine when we get our own Authority! These guys in here never hauled for amazin except the one gut who grossed $5600!!!!! Half you guys probably lease your truck through JCT and come here out of curiosity! never have anything positive to say cause your running 2200 miles a week bringing home enough to survive while leasing your truck! and pissed at the world! Stop knocking Amazon and get onboard! Turn your negative into a positive!
