My nefew was working there. No protection. Place runs like a madhouse. Workers pass the buck, merchandise goes in circles, following the guidelines. Doesn’t sound very organized or even sustainable. Pays not that great either.

Relay.amazon.com they have the requirements for what you need to sign up, they won’t give you rates until your signed up.

I can tell you this the rates in the west coast are rock bottom. 0.80 pm to 1.10 round trips

Waste of time in other words. Can’t outrun low rates. Tried that once. Doesn’t work. An O/O would do better to scrap his equipment and get a job for $20 hr.

They don’t pay that for cdl drivers. Around $18-20. So goes to show you

Could be but west coast drivers are a dime a dozen. Not only that I think they require all their guard shack guys to have their cdl so they can interchange.

I know I can get a job for $20 an hr. Some pay more, but I’m not going to wear knee pads. I’d rather take the $20, OT after 8 or 40. That’s $1400 gross. Plenty for Me. Add health insurance, what’s not to Love?

Yup if you seen my posts about amazon I pulled for a buddy of mine and I got decent rates while others on the same lanes where getting 1.50 per mile.

issue is bigger fleets get that $3-4 pm while the current drivers get .80 pm

You don’t think Schneider and Jb hunt are pulling trailers for $1 do you?

just goes to show you who you know.

They are not going to deliver for 3rd party vendors that sell there stuff thru amazon.
Those delivery vans will deliver Amazon merchandise only, they are swamped and can’t keep up so they are only going to deliver their own products.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
