Same as mine. Yea bumping the gas does the same thing. I'd try the clutch next time. Just press it to the floor then release and it should do the same.
Doesn't sound like there installing anything if there all like yours. Its a feature built into the ECM that there turning on.
I'm curious to know if this will work on the others? -
That is just the standard engine shut off. With ambient its hard coded into the ecm no over riding it.
Female Driver Thanks this. -

The standard engine shut off only engages if your idling with the high idle off. If you have it on it will keep idling unless you have the ambient sensor installed. In which case I have been able to over ride it by hitting the fuel pedal, clutch pedal, or turning off the cruise and then turning it back on.
Also, my truck is a 2013 as well.Click to expand... -

I received my CDL this past week and am considering Schneider. The recruiter here told me that ambient sensors are installed only on trucks that have APUs. Is he blowing airborne particulate matter up my rectum? Thanks for any responses.

Interesting. The recruiter told me that they come together on the new trucks and are installed in pairs on later model existing trucks, however on older trucks due to be replaced soon they have neither. Thanks guys, I have just about ruled them out and plan on going with another company.

Yes, He is blowing ambient matter up your rectum. Schneider doesn't have APU'S. If they did they wouldn't need those sensors.Guardian Devil said: ↑I received my CDL this past week and am considering Schneider.
