I agree fully with you. I did not mean "All" small companies were bad, but it is very hard to find a good small company. For being a younger driver and only coming in at my 4 1/2 years driving I had my fair share of "no such thing as roadside repair"..lol Fixing flats with carburetor spray and my lighter...lol, JB weld was my best friend... and I have been in some very disturbing trucks and pulled junk trailers too. Yeah SNI is a training company but a good one. I still have my eyes set on some other companies for in the future. But for now, like you said, got to fix the work history.
lmao... I would say so also but I think you took that very wrong. Working for a company that has elogs means you have no choice but to log legally. I can Run the tires off a truck using loose leaf logs and smile every time I pass a chicken coupe...lol I know how to log. I am referring to when your driving for a company that prefers not paying any attention to HOS.
Exactly. There are times when I feel like driving and I am not tired and I just wanna get rolling but I prefer the elogs. Because even though they can be a pain they can be the difference between you being free or being imprisoned IF SOMETHING WAS to happen (God forbid). And the plus side to is less inspections and it makes tax time a lot easier when you can just request your logs for that year, all printed nice and neat with geo-tagged locations. lets you get that 52 something bucks a day back (Provided you keep your receipts).
Yea I love my screens. Nothing like a out a tuned semi puffing blue toxic smoke, bull or pig pen parked next you or the lovely piss smell floating up from the parking lot. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2
Not 4 me I tried setting both brakes, only tractor, only trlr and no breaks, the stupid thing still shuts off. I also froze my ### of in Ann Arbor around 7 DEC 12
It's different for every truck. Mine I just tap the break and the timer resets. Holding the break in does nothing mine died out while in gear in traffic with me holding the break in while on line 3. I saw the lights blinking and said no way so I waited to see if it would shut off and sure enough it did LOL
