When the weather turns cold, there is no battery that can keep charged 10 hours while things are draining it. The most power drain comes from the heater. {A man is only as good as his word.}
i figured out a way to beat the cutoff when in traffic: set the brakes, cut the cruise control on, set the high idle. when the lights start flashing again, i just turn the high idle off and it resets. also, you can just push the brake pedal when the lights are flashing if your brakes are set. every model is different i guess, but that works in the 2012 cascadia.
Well, I have a different truck now. They messed up installing the sensor in this truck, all I have to do is turn on the high idle and it will never cut off.
I found out today that they are charging the drivers for the CPAP battery kits they are installing because I turned my truck in for a PM and he said I was on the list for the CPAP Kit and asked if I wanted it installed. I told him I was leaving Tuesday and then he told me he just would not put it in since I would have to pay for it. I wonder how much they are charging drivers for those and if they are making money by selling them to us for more than they paid for them.
What sucks is you go to bed it's 30 in a few hours temp drops to 0 and bunk heater can't keep warm. So u have to get and start tractor. Hire is that a productive nights rest. Also told shop at my pm last week bunk heater only last 7hrs before it stops putting out heat he said I should b lucky it last that long. Not exactly what I like to hear. I got a message that I'm eligible to get one. It only said that if you leave Schneider without returning it, you would be charged $250. Didn't say anything about being charged to have it put in.
Wonder what it looks like? Wonder if it will like thishttp://www.amazon.com/CPAP-Battery-Pack-Respironics/dp/B007D26ZNY reading that we aren't supposed to use the heated humidifiers Sent from my Nexus 7 using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2
