Nope. The lights I was given were all used my first month with the company. The load straps were left in a sealed load under the direction of the not so supportive support shift. Zip ties and grommets were left in the truck. Only thing I took with me was the fuel card.

The fifth wheel lock and stuff I just turned in to the front desk in Dallas. He didn't like it, But I didn't need it. They will charge you for it. I turned the rest of the kit in to him too. I forgot what all was in it.
-
maybe it changed from when you went through to when I did, but you were billed for that lock in the first 3 months. I signed, as did my fellow rooks in orientation, a paper saying we agreed they could deduct from our checks so much per month until the $57 for the lock was paid off.
-
That's probably what happened then. "Oh well". Live and learn. I don't think I have ever had to use a fifth wheel lock. I either took trailer to yard or stayed hooked to it.It was still in the box. Never been used.
-
I used mine once AT Carlisle on an MT I was assigned to. Unhooked for maintenance and took my ten. When I went back to it there was a note explaining YOU DONT LOCK AN MT!!!!
Well, bud. Its assigned and I aint searching for another one so go blow!!!! -
When you change out a trailer light you're supposed to keep the old one and the next time you go thru an OC see the service adviser and swap out one for one.
-
I was never told that. Anyways, I never signed out anything except the kingpin lock which was never used and it was returned. It was never deducted out of my checks so I didn't keep it. I just hate that they are insinuating that I'm a thief. It doesn't sit we'll with me.
-
Yea I have never heard of that either. I just go and ask for some lights or whatever else I need.
-
I was told by an OSR to always put a padlock on the back doors loaded or not to make sure the MT stays clean and nobody can put drugs or other illegal things in there.

I only lock an MT when I'm on the Border. If an Illegal makes it to the check point on your truck, it can get you into big trouble. So I check all over the vehicle before I run through the checkpoint.BossOutlaw88 Thanks this.
