Your driving has a influence in your mpg. Just because your cruising at 60 mph doesn't necessary mean good mpg, how did you get to that does miss any gears, jack rabbit starts etc. How's the trucks tires proper inflation what about the air filter or even fuel filter? Idling will drop mpg, idle 10 hours your burning 10 gallons. Have u talked to the shop? Just because its old doesn't mean it's junk. My 2010 century with 500k gets 6.4 mpg and I haul lots of heavy loads. The truck I had before this had a million plus on it. It still maintained mid 6 for mpgs

We can choose our own routes in bulk.

You can take whatever routes you want in van. You just can't run a few toll roads without approval (I-80 in OH and IN, the FL turnpike, and some other toll road in VA. I don't think we should be taking some of the other toll roads around the country, like the one by Austin TX that parallels I-35).

Sounds like he just did what Jill told him to do. I turned her off and shut her up and I decide which way I want to go.

I take the toll around Austin. Avoids much traffic. Much safer than going thru the middle. I even have TXtoll pass. When you do Texas just about 100% of the time, you'll find the toll around Austin benefits the driver and the company.

Did you pay for that txtoll yourself? If so how much?

shhhh....dont tell, but I heard from a very reliable recruiter (yeah, I know....most couldnt find or tell the truth if it was highlighted in bright yellow....but really, this guy has always been honest with us) that Schneider might have finally seen the writing on the wall about the inadvisability of the sensors, and will be phasing them out and installing....can I have a drumroll, please......APU's. I didnt get a sense of when this phase out will begin, but when it does, unless he finds a gig that gets him home every night, we will be back.

    Boogers?

It was 80 yesterday and sunny. I hope it was ok that I idled. Wanted to make sure it was ok, since 80 is ONLY 3 degrees warmer than 77.

    HotH2o Thanks this.
