PS having been there almost the whole year. ..you have no idea how good that company used to be. It was down right depressing watching how far it fell from its previous stature.

I'm wondering how many companies you've been with in six years you've been a driver?
-
I've heard a lot of drivers making the same statements...
-
Well considering 3 of those years were at act...3 four now with ats total. So no I haven't jumped around a bunch. But nice try. You can justify staying all you want to its your decision but i personally am glad i left. Make no mistake though trying to imply my work ethic is why i left will get you no where. I was never late usually dropped and picked up early. And never had a single complaint, ticket, or negative inspection.Dark_Majesty_06 and BigKid2 Thank this.

I left ACT as well after being there for years. I had 100% on Time pick up and delivery. I 100% agree that money was not the issue but the mgmt was. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was 2 fold. 1.) The 8000 lease. My mile sank and these idiots that obviously don't own a caculator took over the miles. 2.) Cameras in the truck. You work for a company that's owned by a attorney, in the event you are in a serious accident your done. They WILL turn over that video to fry your ### but save theirs.
On a side note I left ACT as well and went to anderson transport as well. Making double here that I did at ACT. Good luck to you guys that are still there.cuzzin it, Kujo, Dark_Majesty_06 and 2 others Thank this. -
E Zackley ! i left because of same general reason. My fleet mgr was good but the rest of the office was filled with poorly trained or apathic personal.
i'm doing tanker again and get paid for just about everything, instead of waiting hours to receive load info for load that's been sitting two days.
AND GOD HELP YOU IF YOUR TRUCK BREAKS DOWN AFTER 4:30 pm !!!!! -
Newish to trucking and looking into ACT... Whats the problem with the cameras if they face the drivers seat and not the berth?
-
The problem is privacy for one with a 120(+/-) degree field of view it's not just the drivers seat it will see. Two it has audio and will record everything you say. And three it's just flat out an insult. A lot of us have flawless driving and safety records. Worked there for years now the company says i can't be trusted? Nope not in my truck.
My record is flawless because i do my job. Am i perfect? No absolutely not. And i don't need some office monkey who has never even driven a truck trying to tell me how to.BigKid2 Thanks this. -
That's the new face of trucking.
