Well let's see. Yesterday i had my turn left turn signal on to turn into the coal tipple to load okay. I had to stop for traffic, when it cleared i started turning. I slammed the binders when i heard a horn sound. Some idiot was passing me after i had started to turn. i nearly ripped his van in half. Now how big of a moron are you when you pass on the left when I'm turning off right infront of you. To top it off i was flipped off and called an #######. Gotta love it:biggrin_25510:

Well jeeze driver, what in the world was you thinkin' gettin' in his way like that? I mean, didn't you realise that he had places to be and people to see? After al, you were obviously just out joy-riding, right? Where's the consideration these days anyhow? :biggrin_25525:

what i hate is when we are droppin off these hills in wv we ar eonly rollin bout 25 to 35. heck they pass ya in the turns they pass you on the double line. then when they do get around you they cut in it seems like about 6 inches infront of your bumper. and we are called ########## for driving safe??????

Well, you weren't driving safe at that point, you were impeding his flow....at least in his opinion.
The sad fact is that 95% of the 4-wheelers have absolutely no clue as to the dynamics of a truck. All that they see is "that big slow (&%**$%*& in MY way, holding ME up". And they are so focused on "me first" that it absolutely blinds them as to what they're doing when they cut in so close like that.
It just amazes me even more every day that I don't see a fatal accident.

That is the gospel truth right there. Every time I run outside CA and get on the "Real roads" and then turn back home, I have to reacquaint myself with CA traffic again....:biggrin_2553:

To tell you the truth before I got my cdl and started driving the trucks I had no idea how long it took a truck to stop or to even pick back up speed because someone cut you off. I was nice to truckers before I got my cdl, but now I could care less what the idiot in the car thinks about trucks.

I only go as fast as I feel I can safely do so up until the point where I catch up to the speed limit.
