Well I've thought about it. Waiting on a "newer" truck to be given to me that I'll be in for most the year.. Hopefully that will be soon. sitting at 689k. Be 690 next time I roll my wheels down my neighborhood.

Whats the link for your blog and congratz AT. I'm going to be polishing my tanks likes yours are on your peterbilt. No straight way to say any of that... Anyways.. I've never done it before and it doesn't seem like I get can the tanks super clean. Does that mater? Or should I wait until I get a better power sprayer?

I donno im no expert on polishing. My truck hadnt been washed in 2 weeks when i polished it. So im assumeing it wont matter much if you only want them as good as mine. But if you want a mirror finish i do beleive youd have to sand them before you polish them...

Go to a truck wash and have them hit with brightener before polishing the first time.
After that stay far away from any brightener/acid..

A buffer is your best friend for getting a mirror finish.

Cheap and effective polish is diesel and jewelers rouge in a soda bottle.
You can buy a stick of rouge most decent truck stops, scrape it with a knife put it in the bottle of fuel add a penny to mix it, shake well and then rub, rub, rub...when it turns black let it dry then buff off with clean rag.

    Enjoy..

    Fullforce and Lantern Thank this.
