This seems common with all the Americold facilities. They're all rude and slow.
I was at this same location a few days ago. I was in the door at 4pm for a 4:30pm pick up. I wasn't loaded until 10:30. -
I don't remember any outrageous delays with AmeriCold.
The ones I frequented most but have been to many...
Belvidere, IL, sometimes slow but I always loaded at the end of my shift and slept on the property.
Bettendorf, IA, I always got good service
E-Dubuque, IL which is a Farmland cross dock facility I always dropped and hooked. I might had to wait for a load to come out but it was beside the terminal. The live loaders seemed to be there forever. -
I'd say they are hit and miss. Great experiences in San Antonio-several loads in and out with no problems, 1-2 hours. Nightmares from Fort Worth. You would think they would be more consistent. May have to do with the product they are loading.
