An age old scam is back

Just give 'em my standard reply...

"Do I look like a $%&#ing ATM machine to you? I didn't think so."

 

There is a newbie somewhere around here that is a former sniper...... 17 years I think........ his signature says something like one shot is one kill, never missed and never will.......... sounds like a real warm and fuzzy dude!!

I'm thinkin he won't have a problem getting rid of the beggers........ or the reptilians......

 

Don't refuse to help when you can. Lots of judgments here, it is sad.

When that guy walks up and says "can I have money to eat?" Tell him "No, but I can take you in and get you something to eat." If he accepts your offer, you have helped someone survive another day. If not, then let him go away.

"Can I have $20 for gas? My wife/kids/dog is .... blah blah"

"No, but pull up to that pump there and I can put in some gas for you."

See? By offering genuine help you will be helping those that need it, and those that just want a hand out will go somewhere else. Now, you are not casting judgment on someone, and will see blessings in return.

I never give a single dime to anyone. WHY? BECAUSE no matter how worthless or pathetic you may think your life is, YOU CAN ALWAYS GET A JOB! In America, there are too many people looking for free handouts. "My wife and kids just left me.... I need gas.... I'm starving...."
My response: I CAN SEE WHY YOUR WIFE AND KIDS LEFT YOU... I DOUBT YOU NEED GAS, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T AFFORD A CAR..... TELL SOMEONE WHO CARES. People like that could rot away on the pavement in front of me and I'm still gonna sleep good at night.. If someone really wants to make some money, get a #### job. If you think you are just gonna get handouts, especially from people like me, you might as well run in front of traffic on I95. (IMHO of course)

 

I had a guy ask me for a buck last week -

he had a sign that read

"ex marine - need help - homeless"


so #1 - anyone who served in the corp NEVER refers to themselves as an "ex"

so #2 - I asked him which division?

he stammered and said "HUH????"

so I asked what his m.o.s. was...

"HUH???"


I should have beat him until he bled out of his ears and colon...

 

If they had ANY integrity they wouldn't be standing there at all.........

I suppose I could dig in trash cans if I had sunk that low........ but there is no way I could stand somewhere with my hand out asking for money
....... wouldn't happen........

 

The economy is bad? I hadn't noticed...also I choose not to participate if it is in-fact, a bad economy.

 

My mom's boyfriend gives money to these people that ask it for food.
My mom questions him every time "what if they buy booze?"
and he says, "If they don't use it to buy food, then they're lying and will go to Hell."
I suppose sometimes it is nice to be religious.

I have given to plenty of people in my life, even before trucking..I remember once me and the wife were going into the local strip mall, and I could not believe who I saw begging next to a McDonald's, but I guy I use to work with.. Story goes he at one time had lots of cash, put blew most of it on beer, and his sister booted him out of the family business, and I believe kicked him out of his house as well.. Well I gave him money for food because I knew he was having it hard even though it sounded like most of it was his own doing.
