I sure will..It will all play out the way it is meant too. Nothing I can do at this point except minimize the damage.
You asked what they do if you 'walk away"..Well you lose the milage bonus they get from you every week. Also, they inspect the truck and you will get charged for everything. I had a calender on the dash and I got charged for it. Also, I paid for the trailer to be recovered and then the truck.
Any other questions just ask.

I am a student and have examined the lease programs from companies such as prime and others. Prime is worse as you are paying 30 grand more in the end. If you Do not believe me, ask Vulcan1999. He will verify the facts about Primes lease. I would look into John Christner. You pay $1 at the end of the lease compared to others.
There are good leases and bad ones. I know one member who is getting the money to purchase the truck from the company. It is a good idea as you can always re-finance and get lower payments.

My problem is when he has NO first hand knowledge and he acts like he does. For instance, the Prime is one of the worst with over 30k...Or some such..Now before someone takes this wrong I am in NO WAY endorsing Prime. However, I have come on here and told what I know as a former lessee. And I will be back when I find out how the whole "walk away" crud really works. But again, I am giving 1st hand info. Not hearsay nor famous trucker tales.
I admit I did not look and see how long KH had been in the industry when I first came to this thread. Once I did though my first thought was "I wonder how many drivers are taking advice from someone who has NO experience." That is why I have pointed it out.
I wish KH well if he ever gets into school and enters this world. But until he does to actually give advice to drivers is just over the top for me.david07003 Thanks this. -
For anyone considering a lp, had better do their due diligence regardless of what they read here.. -
Ok curious Exhibit A) I told my friend to buy a reefer because dry van suck in pay. They are not paying well right now and we all know it. He bought a reefer and has been doing good.
Kenmar,
You questioned my intelligence and I take things like very serious. I said everyone was free to give their opinions on lease purchase programs. I wish I would get treated the same as other people. If you knew me in person, you would think i am enthusiastic to learn.
