It was suggested by the magical fairy in my inbox that I post a message on here introducing myself. And since I blindly follow all disembodied voices (whether they reveal themselves audibly or electronically) that is just what I am doing.
I have been "around" the trucking industry for a number of years (Dispatch, Freight Broker, Loading Dock Worker, Built Flat-Bed Trailers, Breakdown Assistance) but I have never been a driver--YET.
I recently began looking into becoming a driver and have been researching a few of the different companies that offer paid training, it looks like Millis is at the top of my list right now, with Roehl running a very close second. If anyone has any experience with either of these two carriers I'd love to hear it. I've checked out the Millis and Roehl threads on here but most of them seem to be from the perspective of people who already work for the companies, and as such are a little biased. So some objective advice would be greatly appreciated.
Well that's pretty much it for now. Thanks for reading!
