a scrap metal or mostly likely wood chip/saw dust grapple. It looks Inclosed so it’s for something small/ loose.
The last, and only, grapple I hauled was open so it was gravy. It rode just fine all the way to texas? I think? I’m glad they dot you something, Friday’s can be tricky. We try to move a lot of trucks out and sometimes the loads just aren’t there. Getting a weekend load out of Washington is pretty rare, at least in my experience.pumpkinishere, Speed_Drums, Lonesome and 5 others Thank this. -

Well, I figured out what that piece of equipment going to my 2nd stop is. I thought it was a tree harvesting probe as well, until I pulled up the customer on Google Maps. This is going to a metal recycling facility at a steel mill, so it's used to pick up metal headed to the mill to be melted down.

Once I deliver to my 2nd stop Friday morning, I will have turned over 10,000 miles in 21 days, with 2 days at home loading up my gear. Feels #### good to run for a change without all the nagging, nannying and pestering. And having a dispatcher who was a former driver helps. He already figured that I would be tight on my 70 after running 3800 miles and doing 2 live loads and 2 live unloads in 7 days...
My response to people in the office when they ask how I am doing is "if I were doing any better I would have to sit on my hands to keep pinching myself to see if I am dreaming"LilRedRidingHood, pumpkinishere, dwells40 and 10 others Thank this. -

Spotted you yesterday morning in between Jerome and Twin. Noticed your load.

Hope I waved. I've been trying to do better at spotting our trucks, but since we have such a variety of makes, models and colors, it's easy to miss one until it's too latepumpkinishere, Dale thompson, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this.

You will have to watch the tires going into scrap yard to get unloaded as there's tire busters laying around everywhere in that place?
pumpkinishere, Dale thompson, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this. -
