Long Island sucks!!!!! Got in to my 1st stop, no problem. I went over the GW because any other route I would have taken across PA and NJ would have cost just as much in tolls as I would have saved by going over the Narrows bridge. Leaving, it took almost 2 hours to get from south central Long Island back to I-95. How in God's name people can stand to live anywhere near that part of the world I will never understand. Now I am in RI for the night and will try to push the rest of these lifts off tomorrow and head back to Sturbridge and rent me a parking spot for the night so Op's can give me an idea which way to head on Wednesday.

    SSB,

Are you at that TA in West Greenwich? I used to stop there before it was a TA years back when they had a sit down restaurant when I ran New England. I also used to frequent that Pilot in Sturbridge when it was Sturbridge Isle T/S but only stayed once after Pilot bought it. Good luck in New England and be safe.

Yeah, I am at the T/A tonight. I was here once before a long time ago, I think it was when I was with Poly. I remember that old truckstop in Sturbridge back when the front building was the truckstop and the back building was the fuel desk. I ate in the restaurant one night they had a guy playing the piano while we ate. Sure didn't feel like a truckstop restaurant back then.

Glad we don't come up here too often, if we did it would be a sure way to get one of the new trucks coming in because this one would be falling apart a lot quicker than it already is.

Another question for my fellow SPD family on here...Does SPD pay extra for delivering in the 5 boroughs like most companies do? I can't find my original orientation package to verify if they do.
