Dang unload early monday morning and have to wait till weds for a reload. If you werent on that weekly guarantee that would suck. They just killed your miles for the month though

Not to mention my enthusiasm...I HATE elevator loads with a passion. And lately I haven't been feeling the best as far as heat tolerance, not sure if it's the new meds I am taking or if I caught something, or if old age has finally caught up to me, but I just have no tolerance. May not make it thru the summer as a flatbedder the way it's going.

I did notice a slight change on our side of the Peoplenet with this next load. They are showing empty miles now. Before, we were only given the loaded miles and had to wait until our pay statement to find out what empty miles were paid. Even the load out of Jersey down here to Tejas didn't have them, but this load up to WA has them...

It’s a crap shoot what you’ll get out of there. I’ve had regular elevator loads, regular elevator loads but 1/4 of the size that went to a two story medical facility, and I’ve had absolutely gravy loads of just 4’ tall crates.

that’s nice. I usually would figure the shortest route in google and that round down.

My passport expires at the end of the month. Hopefully I’m out of here before then. Maybe it won’t be renewed.

Think of a 53' Jenga puzzle....that you have to secure, pad sharp edges then have to tarp. And there is normally no flat surfaces on the top to walk on, mostly open frames around the equipment. Oh, and when they're loading it's like "oh yeah, it'll fit there" so they just put whatever wherever they can to get it on the trailer, whether it sits still or wobbles around... they're total nightmares to pull. I guess that's why they're always looking for help at our dedicated account in SC.
