How was the weather out there? I heard the Santa Ana Winds were up and blowing on the 15.

Pretty windy going in. Had those ingots that were only 36" in diameter, but this truck gets pushed around loaded or empty, and it was a handful. Coming out wasn't as bad, but still gusty in places...of course, we all know, Cali is like WY, it just blows there :)

Well my tour of duty with that skin trailer is done, for now. One and a half round trips ga-tx and back. Two tires, two air bags, and countless smiles.

Bobtail up to Wichita, assignment unknown. Figured I would do a two hour break, take advantage of the free laundry here at Lonestar’s yard, and leave town at 5:30 pm. I’m smart like that, maybe cheap would be a better description.

Maybe they're sending you up to Wichita to preload a trailer for me to head home with...:p

Ok....ok, I think I've done my part for the economy and the company this week. 4140 miles in 8 days, 2 live loads and tarps, 1 live unload and untarp and into and out of SoCal (in from Havasu to Long Beach and back out thru Havasu). All on recaps. That's about as much as I have ever done in one 8 day logbook period (legally at least).
