And if the drivers on the 9900 mile salary plan are gonna be similarly bent over, they may want to hire more people in recruiting to keep up with departing drivers. Although some may not be calculating out their differences like I just did and will believe management when they say they'll be making more on the new pay deal...so those departures will be spread out.

If either one of us would have known about this blending with We-Lie, I wouldn't have come over in the first place.

Although, if they would pay a safety bonus separately from a performance bonus, it wouldn't be so bad. I mean, I'm just as safe of a driver whether I drive 8600 miles or 14,600 miles in a month. Why should our safety bonus rate be based on how many miles we run.

Where'd ya load? I don't like that offensive 4 letter substance on that one outdoor picture.

They have me swapping my flatbed for a conestoga step tomorrow after I get empty then heading to Charlotte to pick something on Wednesday going to Oklahoma. Not sure where I pickup or deliver just yet. They want me to swap trailers before they send the load so it has the right trailer assigned to it. I have had this trailer since mid-October.

North east South Dakota. They had maybe an inch on the ground the day before we got there. Nice people, everything was ready to go on skids. Pushed/slid them on from the back. Backed in at 7 and both trucks were strapped and ready to go by 9:30. That place we loaded at in Spokane valley could sure learn a few things from these folks.

Wait...wait...wait, you had to back up to a dock?... we're open deck, when did we have to start doing that...not sure I remember how to do that -:laughing-guffaw:

But seriously, about that place in Spokane Valley, the place that makes you tarp saw mill equipment, I agree...the phrase willey-nilley perfectly describes their disorganized loading procedures. Glad that isn't one of our regular customers.

On top of the wait for NM's holiday restriction and AL Sunday restrictrion, that put me in Atlanta just as they were setting up all the various security protection for the motorcade bringing the former first lady to her memorial service. Atlanta was twice the nightmare it usually is, and I was there long before she was supposed to be brought through. And with all the former presidents and first ladies that are scheduled to attend the services on Wednesday, Atlanta is one city to definitely avoid more than usual. I bet it is gonna be more of a congested nightmare than normal all day Wednesday.
