Go to a different doctor, say nothing about the 3 month card.

The following is what I was instructed to do by a very nice lady at my insurance company. Go to the sleep Dr. DO NOT MENTION DOT DR SENT YOU. If you can get them to buy that you’re concerned and want to get the study done for yourself, insurance should cover it. That’s how I got mine covered, plus my elderly father with dementia was diagnosed with sleep apnea early on. FWIW, I actually passed my sleep study.

That sucks...since you're unemployed, there is always the option of Obamacare. We get to choose what doctor we go to, but we have to pay. I hope when we convert to We-lie, I hope they don't start making us use a company doc.

If the 1st doctor told the DOT about the need for a test, that could come back to haunt him for lying

@cool7035 give NASTC a call or email. They may be able to get you in touch with the people doing the sleep test from home and at a reasonable price. Think it is a shirt you wear or something like that

I hope I’m qualified for this one. IMG_6385.jpeg
This is the 5th trailer in a row that needed shop attention.

1.expired inspection, took 2 shop trips to get that on fixed.
2.Two blown wheel seals on the same trailer, filled with Lucas stop leak and ran it back to the customer. No chance getting that one fixed on a holiday weekend with extremely uncommon 17.5 brake shoes.
    3. This trailer has had recent brake work, push rod had come unscrewed. Loves actually fixed it for free while I was in the fuel island. (Now that’s service) in the last two years I’ve had that exact trailer in the shop 5 times. I don’t even pull it that often.
    4. the whole front of the trailer is about to fall off. Waiting on the customer to fix it because it’s their trailer.
    5. Expired inspection.

This is about my only complaint here. Other drivers not doing their inspections and reporting things to get fixed. I have never once been denied a repair, but SPD can’t fix what they don’t know about. They also do not hold the previous driver accountable.

I kinda have a load. A broker load out of Panama City going west...I have a trip number and the cities I am headed to, and nothing else. No customer names, no addresses, nothing. Told my FM I won't leave the house until they get their #### together and get me my load info just in case things change and they pull the load.

Completely agree. Probably won’t ever happen. Would love to have an assigned trailer, just doesn’t work with our operation.

They sent out an email looking for an orientation coordinator...did Craig leave, get sick or get fired? Or is that not his job title?

I think they need more help in orientation. Ya know with the mass exodus of drivers and the fresh meat coming in… ;)
