Tql sucks. I would be having a block party.

2400 mile weekend load. Never buying a lightweight tarp again. Roped the hell out of it and it still balloons up. IMG_6391.jpeg

Vould be worse. Been out since 12/24. Was due to go home tomorrow but dispatch said he was told to send me home today. Bobtailed from center tx to ft worth to get an empty trailer to take to sherman tx which is where I park my truck. Got to dallas and my truck said screw you and derated to 55mph. Now I am in north ft worth waiting on dispatch to find me a ride home

TQL tried again last night. One hour after I stopped for the night I get a beep saying my tracking was off (which it wasn't). Another hour, another beep. Do Not Disturb mode engaged. At 0200 I get a visual VM pop up (no sound and my phone blocked the call)...but when the VM popped up, the sudden bright screen woke me up. So, now both the message number and TQL's incoming phone number have been blacklisted so none of their people can get thru. They abused the privilege of having my number, so they lose that as an option. I will let my FM know what I have done and see if he can get the sales guy to send them an email saying that they have to go thru Arlington from this point on if they need anything. If I contact them, they would only hear a stream of offensive language at a significantly high volume, and then the line would go silent when I hang up on them.

And this is the exact reason that I would NEVER download anyones app. It’s my phone and I pay the bill. Until I have a company paid phone, no way, no how, EVER!!

    navypoppop and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Man I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Your fm seems like a decent guy, what little I delt with him when he was a driver. If you don’t get any traction I would run it up the chain to Derek or Tracy. Calling at midnight is absolutely unacceptable.

I had a landstar broker call me at 0500 once to ask when I was going to pickup at an all day appointment at a place that didn’t even open until 6 or 7 am. By the time we got off the phone, he was well aware of what I thought about his customer service skills.
they require us to have a smartphone and pay a portion of the bill.

hopefully with the new tablets for the ELD we can download the tracking apps to the tablet instead of our phones.

Not if your getting the same system LST has. It won't down load anything they don't want you to have. And you can not adjust any settings.

My FM said they are working on getting the tablets set up so any brokers tracking apps will go thru that instead of our phone. But now that we are going to be owned by TFI (pending gov't approval) who knows what changes they'll implement.

Maybe it will come with a Tim Hortons discount code, in 6-8 months if or when it gets approved.
