    ###### man. That’s like some kind of record for an otr driver here.

I was curious so I checked, I have tarped 17 loads this year 14 of which were small crates for wing loads. One 14 wide, one 12 wide, and one legal load.

IF I did leave the LTL sector, I’d consider food grade tanker. I’ve done bulk-pneumatic work before, but want to try food grade.

I won’t ever do fuel, might try chemical hauling but fuel is a no-no for me. I have very bad luck at times. Lol

Wow this is like the dumbest thing I’ve read in a minute…

So at the risk of sounding like a @supersnackbar fan boy, unfortunately other than @kylefitzy and his division SPD is being forced into the Wylie way…I hope there are enough “good” niches for the decent drivers to find a home.

Actually, fuel is one tanker job I would consider. Living in FL, when a hurricane blows thru, the governor always suspends the HOS regs for fuel haulers, and as hard as I like to run, that would be my time to make a ton of cash.

Fuel is about the easiest tanker work you can get into. Load in about 11-20 minutes, and unload in 30-45

Heck most fuel drivers are within 150 miles anyway so plenty of 14 hour days anyway.

Except while waiting to load during that time of no HOS, you’ll be waiting hours at the ports to load.

I had heard from one of our long term drivers that they are getting picky about making sure you're logging any work done to the truck as ON Duty. He said they made him sign a write up for getting his truck serviced while on hometime without logging it.

Update- just got the email (it came from Don). It is some changes to our paid and unpaid time off.
