I don't think I can do any better than what I managed today.

They have fired and laid off lots of office workers in the recent weeks. I know people who knew them personally.

Anyway. I heard the famous words no truck driver wants to hear. “We get trucks in here all the time!”

Just kidding but it was pretty interesting getting through the low hanging trees up and into the guys yard. Overall went pretty smooth and another happy customer. IMG_7339.jpeg

Nice backyard drop lol. I understand Boeing has let go of middle managers, I’m suggesting the new CEO trim some of the senior leadership that moved to VA and refused to visit production facilities.

Still wouldn’t solve the pension impasse that’s a Wallstreet issue unfortunately, so long as y’all keep busy, I know we are leaning heavily into customer freight and trying to stay away as much as we can from the super cheap stuff, though that’s getting harder and harder to do.

Travels well that quote, but our version usually is 'We've had bigger than that in here' ;-

I talked to a Bulldog driver last month in Brunswick, and he said Bulldog would be no more. All the drivers had to fill out new app's to Wylie. All the Bulldogs I've seen since have had Wylie brands on the doors. I fear Lonestar may be next.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

All the otr and heavy haul fleet went to Wylie. The container work went to a TFI company.

I hate to say it but you might be right about loanstar. Who knows where they would end up though. They have over 700 trucks and some very expensive, specelized trailers. That’s a lot of equipment and drivers for one company to take on.

    Lonesome and Oxbow Thank this.

That's how they did Moore when I was there. I saw a Lonestar dry van on the Bulldog yard, I thought Lonestar was in a different "group" than Wylie since they do a lot of OD loads.

I wonder if/when we'll be getting our door stickers changed. I hate to say it, but things may end up how I was speculating back when we were "partnered" with Wylie before they dismissed Chubby.
