2023, UK had a net migration of 782k. 2022 - 764k. It's reduced by a lot before that. But those numbers work into an already crowded system. And you can expect more of the same. Look at the hospitals near the border w Mexico. Even if they contribute, which most don't, they're still putting a huge stress on the system.

Pushed it to my 1st stop today instead of tomorrow. Will be at my 2nd stop when they open in the morning, then to the windshield shop. It is supposed to be a stereotypical PNW day tomorrow, another words, rainy.

Gonna bet on the lottery. Got green lights at all the open OR scales, and the 1st WA scale coming out of OR. That's the 1st green lights I have gotten in OR since I started here.

Has anyone ever had high DEF consumption out of the blue? I filled up both diesel and DEF in Bliss, ID, and by the time I got to the Love's near Chehalis, WA I was already down to just over 1/2 a tank. I looked all around the truck and don't see any evidence of a leak, so hopefully it was just some bad DEF. I topped it off again and will see if it gets better.

There's a huge issue with doctor and nurse burnout. Especially since covid. Idk if I believe the full doomsday scenarios, but it's not good.

Yes I did in a Peterbilt I drove a few years back. I thought it was all in my head until I started going thru a tank a day. A bad sensor (I know; shocking) was the culprit. It wasn’t calibrating how much DEF to spray into the system and was just absolutely dousing it.

Briefly talked to HR. They said it looks like they paid me the vacation cash out hourly rate for my sick pay, not the normal sick pay amount, which they calculate based on pay and your hours worked. She also verified that they had not been taking out my optional hospital indemnity and vision deductions. She emailed Canada directly instead of futzing around with anyone in between. She was glad I discovered this, and is wondering if anyone else that has optional coverage is missing anything and just didn't notice.

Decided to have the windshield replaced first, then deliver. It's raining cats and dogs here now, but is supposed to let up for a short period before noon, so I will deliver then.
