it certainly sounds like they’re in big trouble like they lost a lot of freight probably more than likely due to self-destruction

@supersnackbar i know you basically have two feet out the door, but I would still try to get moved to a different FM. All of your problems, except for pay, involve your FM one way or another. If he’s not setting your PTA accurately, the planers never see your truck. Same with home time, ect. That building you set until Friday to unload, who did you talk to? I bet your FM said he would reach out to sales and have them call the customer. Who knows if that happened.

I’m not saying SPD doesn’t need to make some major changes, and they probably won’t happen, but I think things could improve for you while you look for a better fit. What could it hurt?

He's been my FM for a while, my miles (and f'd up paychecks) didn't start until New Years when we went to weekly pay and WTF-I took over payroll. 3 of the 8 checks this year were WTF-I's f'ups, 2 of the 8 were SPD's f'up. It really isn't him because when I am in Kathy's zone, I measage her directly about my PTA in case he didn't set it right. In any case, I am done with WTF-I completely.

Tried to look at their website... it's not working. Based on posts on the forum and Indeed's reviews, low $80k's for pay, which wouldn't be an improvement for me.

Check into Freehold Cartage (FCI). I talked to them this week. They run east of the Mississippi. All van work. 75mph trucks. External cameras only.

I’ll chime in one more time on the topic @supersnackbar any consideration of Kottke, they have a terminal in wildwood or Moeller out of Lakeland? Trying to think of good reefer outfits in Florida, they’re few and far between.

Kottke starts you out at .56/mi with 10+ years OTR if you use their benefits (they pay more if you have your own). I looked at Moeller a while back, but I think I read that they have driver facing cameras, so they're definitely a no bueno unless they pay $1/mile.

Yes, I live, or should I say exist with driver facing cameras. I hate every aspect of it, it brings such a level of H E double hockey sticks to the job, that it’s nearly unbearable at times.
