Who in Wichita? Scott is the most arrogant prick in the company, and the shop guy is 2nd. And the planner there is a giant piece of ####...they need to move all their jobs to Fargo and close that place down. (Never met the new permit lady, so I don't have an opinion on her)

Scott is an acquired taste. I respect him and he definitely helped me through the years and I wasn’t even one of his drivers. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying I enjoyed him.

When I was there, I personally wouldn't have pissed on him if he were running across the parking lot on fire...in fact, I would fan the flames so he would be prepared to rot in Hell. The only decent person that worked out of that terminal was Daniel, and when he passed away, that ended anything positive there.

Honestly most people at SPD didn't care for me either. Maybe 5 people I can think of.

Well this tarp is holding up okay for the shape of the load. I picked up almost this exact setup off the yard a few months ago. It sure is a lot easier when the local guys tarp it for you. IMG_8094.jpeg

Saw my 1st white red and blue Wylie KW the other day. Compared to their Pete's, those trucks look like crap.

Well the highs and lows of trucking I guess. Last month I ran just over 15000 miles for my highest mileage month ever. This month, preventable accident. After running this local run of 15’ wide crates I went to get lunch and when I came out I saw a gouge and crack in the fender.
IMG_8188.jpeg IMG_8190.jpeg Evidently I’m not to very observant. I’m pretty sure this happened on Saturday when I pulled up to the closed fuel pump to top off a low tire. When I was backing out I bumped a trash can and saw the hood jump a little bit but I didn’t think anything of it really. #### trash can didn’t even fall over, must have caught it just right. There goes the safety bonus for the month.

Brightside is that it's monthly and not quarterly. :)

    Ugh… ####, that sucks.

If it’s any consolation I had one of MD’s finest spot me wearing two hazmat placards and pull me over for a level 2 this morning. It took the trooper an eternity to type up the report because apparently every UN number and the associated proper shipping name has to be listed on the inspection report.

Fortunately they didn’t decide on a level 1 or they may have found the bad torque arm I wrote up after today’s post trip, especially since they were all tight on the pretrip this morning.
