I was in a lot worse hole than $7000 and some change before I got started. What I like about this guy is he's thinking like I was - pay it off - then pay cash for everything and do it debt free. That's why I didnt beat him up over his current debt. Now if he had come on here talking about getting some government backed loan to go buy a 2010 Cascadia with a 127" custom sleeper and a 2010 Great Dane stainless steel reefer unit I'd have been the first of many to tell him get ready to fail.

As far as starting a big company and having an education. I never really thought aboutr it as some of you have. Having more than 2 possibly 3 trucks is as big as my dream has ever been anyways. Especially knowing what a headache it would be to find decent drivers for the other unit(s). I couldn't sleep at night worrying about filling seats in 25 empty trucks or about some of the sloppy steering wheel holders that I hired not because I wanted to but because I had to - and wondering what they were gonna screw up next...
