I got my 15 for 1.95% two months ago.

 

If morage rates are at those numbers now .. I wonder what auto loans and financing rates are on boats and campers and other toys that are necessity to survive in America

 

Three weeks ago my wife bought '19 Subaru. Her interest rate on a new one was 1.9%. She opted for the used one instead as it had more options. Her interest on the used one was 3.5%

 

I’d like to hear the rest of the story on the 1.9% 15 yr. Mortgage. Like how many points it cost, or if a Builder paid points towards the Loan. While everyone else in the world pays close to 4%. Always the rest of the story that gets left out.

 

Knowing where rates were going and actually are now I was happy to get 2.75% with 20% down on a 30 year traditional 6 months ago. It cost me 2.35% upfront of which the builder paid zero. Could have gotten 1.75% on a 15 year but decided instead to work a plan of paying extra on the principal every month and cutting that 30 years down to 17 as a result. With a few good $ years of trucking sprinkled in that time frame I'm really looking to knock it out even faster than 17.
