    Is the daughter at least 16 years of age? Can she pass a GED test? If yes to both questions, have her take the GED test, then talk to a US Army, Navy, Marine, or Coast Guard recruiter to see if they accept recruits with only a GED certificate. If you find a military branch that accepts GED, then you can sign consent papers for her to enlist in the US military. This way, she's busy with a military career while you're establishing your trucking career. The Coast Guard is part of the US Navy but still maintain themselves as a separate branch.
    I enlisted in the US Air Force with only a GED certificate when I was 17, but they tightened their standards since 1976 and now require a high school diploma.
    Back then, 16 was the minimum age with parents' consent.
